Makes 2 Large Servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Bunch Lacinato Kale, Destemmed and Torn into Pieces

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil or oil of choice.

  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste.

Method + Assembly

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.

  2. Destem your kale and tear into bite sized “chip” pieces.

  3. Rinse kale chips and pat dry with towels.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine kale pieces and oil(s). Use your hands to massage the kale pieces so each piece is thoroughly coated with the oil. This is part of the trick to getting the pieces nice and crispy.

  5. Spread the pieces over the two sheet pans, making sure they don’t overlap.

  6. Cook chips for approximately 6 to 7 minutes until they are crisp but not burnt.

  7. Allow chips to cool to room temperature.

  8. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and/or other seasonings of choice.

    Enjoy!
